    Optimization of Hydrochloric Acid Hydrolysis Extracting Mollugin from Rubiae Radix et Rhizoma by Response Surface Methodology

    • OBJECTIVE To optimize the extraction process of mollugin from Rubiae Radix et Rhizoma.METHODS Based on single-factor experiment,the main factors hydrochloric acid concentration,extraction temperature and extraction time were determined by response surface methodology with the content of mollugin as the response value.RESULTS The optimum extraction conditions were as follows:the hydrochloric acid concentration was 10.5%,extraction temperature was 82.0,and extraction time was 41.0℃ min.Under these conditions,the yield rate of rubimaillin in Rubiae Radix et Rhizoma was 2.53%,which was well matched with the predicted content of 2.51%.CONCLUSION This optimal extraction process can be used for extracting the mollugin from Rubiae Radix et Rhizoma.It is simple,stable and reproducible.
