Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To establish a method to determine the content of retigabine. METHODS Agilent ZORBAX SB-C
18(150 mm×4.6 mm, 3.5 μm) was used as the analytical column. The mobile phase was a mixture of sodium heptanesulfonate solution-acetonitrile, and elute with linear gradient. The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min
-1. Detection wavelength was 250 nm and column temperature was 30 ℃. RESULTS Retigabine has a good linearity in the range of 0.204-122.28 μg·mL
-1 (r=0.999 9), the average recovery was 99.9% with RSD of 0.46%. CONCLUSION This method is accurate, repeatable and its isomers can be well separated. It can be applied to determine the content of retigabine.
