Abstract:
Cutting-edge technologies represented by artificial intelligence(AI) are the core driving force behind the shift from traditional pharmaceutical administration to digital and intelligent precision management. Technological breakthroughs have facilitated the conceptual shift from reactive response to proactive warning in traditional pharmaceutical administration. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as AI, blockchain, and large language models, the management and service of hospital pharmacy have been transformed into a digital and intelligent precision paradigm. The main benefits of this transformation include full traceability, improved efficiency, reduced errors, and enhanced pharmaceutical service quality. This issue introduces the “Digital and Intelligent Pharmacy—AI-enabled Pharmaceutical Affairs Management” column, which focuses on sharing successful cases and building models of the application of cutting-edge technologies in pharmaceutical administration in China, aiming to assist the steady progress of China’s pharmaceutical industry towards digital and intelligent precision transformation.
