    Farnesoid X Receptor: A New Target for Hypertension Intervention

    • 摘要: 法尼醇X受体(farnesoid X receptor,FXR)是核受体超家族成员之一,在人类和动物体内广泛表达,能被体内绝大多数胆汁酸直接激活,并在机体生理调节和病理调控中发挥重要作用。FXR作为一种代谢性核受体,与高血压危险因素(糖脂代谢异常、动脉粥样硬化、肥胖)关联密切,其介导的相关信号通路可能通过作用于血管、氧化三甲胺、肠上皮屏障及肾脏,参与对高血压病理生理的调节,本文基于FXR参与高血压控制的初步探索结果,提出FXR可能是高血压干预的新靶点。

       

      Abstract: Farnesoid X receptor(FXR) is a member of nuclear receptor superfamily, which is widely expressed in human and animals. It can be directly activated by most bile acids in the body and plays an important role in physiological and pathological regulation. As a metabolic nuclear receptor, FXR is closely related to the risk factors of hypertension(abnormal glucose and lipid metabolism, atherosclerosis, obesity). The related signal pathways mediated by FXR may participate in the regulation of hypertension pathophysiology by acting on blood vessels, trimethylamine oxide, intestinal epithelial barrier and kidney. Combined with the preliminary results of FXR involved in hypertension control, it is suggested that FXR may be a new target for hypertension intervention.
