Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To explore new models of cultivating clinical pharmacists and cultivate clinical pharmacists with more practical ability.
METHODS taking clinical pharmacist competency as the training goal, the outcome based education(OBE) training mode was adopted according to the actual situation. a diversified assessment system and training plans was constructed combined clinical and pharmacy education resources. the learning effectiveness of 36 trainees in five dimensions(basic skills, pharmacy professional quality, pharmacy service ability, basic clinical level, and scientific research ability) during 2019 and 2020 was evaluated.
RESULTS Based on the OBE concept, the trainees thought the scores of the five dimensions before and after the training were significantly improved, with the highest average score being 4.39 points, the assessment experts and teachers gave the trainees > 6 points in each dimension.
CONCLUSION The clinical pharmacist training mode under the OBE concept can meet the requirements of clinical pharmacist training, improve the teaching level of clinical pharmacists, and help trainees achieve comprehensive improvement in comprehensive literacy such as pharmaceutical knowledge, clinical foundation, and practical skills.
