Establish and Discuss the Quality Standard of Ophiopogonis Radix from Zhejiang Province

OBJECTIVE To discuss the revision of the Ophiopogonis Radix from Zhejiang province. METHODS The major difference between Ophiopogonis Radix from Zhejiang province and from Sichuan province were analyzed. The reason for the newly added procedures were also investigated. RESULTS The quality standard of Ophiopogonis Radix from Zhejiang province were of description, microscopic characteristics, TLC, fingerprint, content of flavones and saponin. CONCLUSION The quality standards can be used for effective control of Ophiopogonis Radix from Zhejiang province.
