Clinical Observation on Shengyang Yiwei Decoction for Deficiency of Spleen and Stomach of Chronic Atrophic Gastritis

OBJECTIVE To observe the therapeutic effect of Shengyang Yiwei decoction for Chronic atrophic gastritis. METHODS Sixty patients were randomized into the treatment group and control group with 30 in each. The control group was given routine western medicine. The treatment group was added with Shengyang Yiwei decoction one dose daily. The treatment lasted for 3 month. The clinical curative effect were observed. RESULTS The total effective rate of the treatment group and control group were 93.3% and 70.0% respectively. TCM symptoms curative effect evaluation of total effective rate in treatment group was 93.3%, the control group was 66.7%; The comparison between the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). TCM symptoms integral comparison of two groups before treatment were decreased(P<0.01), but the treatment group than the control group symptom score decreased more significantly(P<0.01). CONCLUSION Shengyang Yiwei decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms and clinical curative effect.
