Preparation of Glycyrrhizic Acid Phospholipid Complex Self-emulsifying Drug Delivery System

OBJECTIVE To prepare glycyrrhizic acid phopholipid compelx self-emulsifying formulation(SEDDS). METHODS Solubility studies, compatibility study and pseudo-ternary phase diagram were used to study the preparation of glycyrrhizic acid phospholipid complex SEDDS. RESLUTS The optimized formulation of glycyrrhizic acid phospholipid complex self-emulsifying preparation was Labrafil 1944cs∶Cremophor EL35∶Transcutol HP=45∶40∶15, with the drug located 27.3%. The obtained emulsion showed even and nano grade particle size with transparent appearance. CONCLUSION Self-emulsifying drug delivery system for glycyrrhizic acid phospholipid complex has been prepared.
