    Research on Dissolution Rates of Bergenin in Different Combinations of Yinbaiyigan Decoction

    • OBJECTIVE To establish an HPLC method of determining simultaneously bergenin in different combinations of Yinbaiyigan decoction to investigate its dissolution rates. METHODS The contents of bergenin was determined by RP-HPLC with Zorbax Extend-C18 column, mobile phase of methnol-water(20∶80), flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1, detection wavelength of 275 nm, column temperature of 30 ℃. RESULTS Herba artemisiae scopariae can reduce the dissolution rate of bergenin in yinbaiyigan decoction. Herba lysimachiae, Herba Pteridis Multifidae and plus Selaginella moellendorffii Hieron plus Serissa serissoide can improve the solubilization of bergenin in yinbaiyigan decoction, and both had synergy. CONCLUSION The RP-HPLC method is fast, accurate and its reproducibility is good. Different compatibilities have impact on the content of bergenin in Yinbaiyigan decoction significantly.
