Abstract
OBJECTIVE To develop a method for the content determination of gastrodin, imperatorin, ferulic acid, pulegone and acetyl-11-keto-β-boswellic acid in Tianma Toutong tablets simultaneously by HPLC. METHODS The determination was performed on Agilent Zorbax TC-C18 column with mobile phase consisted of actonitrile-0.5% phosphoric acid solution at the flow rate of 1.2 mL·min-1, gradient elution and the injection volum was 10 μL. The column temperature was 35 ℃. RESULTS The linear ranges of gastrodin, imperatorin, ferulic acid, pulegone and acetyl-11-keto-β-boswellic were 1.25-25.00, 0.50-10.00, 10.00-200.00, 0.50-10.00 and 0.50-10.00 μg·min-1, respectively; RSDs of precision, stability and reproducibility tests were all ≤1.0%. The average recoveries were 100.0%, 99.4%, 99.1%, 98.9%, 98.6%; RSDs were 1.33%, 1.38%, 0.79%, 3.12%, 1.26%(n=9), respectively. CONCLUSION The method is accurate, sensitive, credible, and repeatable. It can be applied to the quality control of Tianma Toutong tablets.
