    Study on Simultaneous Determination of Three Main Marker Components in Xuanfeizhike Mixture by HPLC

    • OBJECTIVE To establish an HPLC method for simultaneous determination of puerarin, daidzein and glycyrrhizic acid in Xuanfeizhike mixture. METHODS Isolation of sample was achieved on an Agilent Zorbax SB-C18(4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm), under the 254 nm detection wavelength, gradient eluted by acetonitrile-0.1% formic acid, and the column temperature was maintained at 30 ℃. RESULTS The linearity ranges of puerarin, daidzein and glycyrrhizic acid were 99.14-991.4, 22.50-225.0, 22.60-226.0 μg·mL-1, respectively(r≥0.999 8). The average recoveries(n=9) of them were 99.2%, 98.9%, 99.3%. CONCLUSION The method is simple, accurate and has a good repeatability. The study provides scientific foundation for quality evaluation and quality control standards for Xuanfeizhike mixture.
