Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the clinical efficacy of mannatide combined with tacrolimus treatment on vitiligo. METHODS All of 100 patients with vitiligo were randomly divided into observation group(n=50) and control group(n=50). The mannatide combined with tacrolimus was used in observation group and tacrolimus was used in control group. The clinical efficacy, peripheral blood T lymphocyte?subpopulation, serum interleukin-6 (IL-6) level and interferon-γ(IFN-γ) level were compared between the 2 groups. RESULTS The clinical efficacy of control group and observation group was 62.0% and 90.0%, respectively, the difference showed statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the CD4+, CD8+, CD4+/CD8+ of observation group respectively was (44.9±3.6)%, (30.5±3.0)%, (1.9±0.2), IFN-γ and IL-6 was (38.5±4.7), and (109.9±6.2)ng·L-1, those of control group was(37.2±3.4)%, (35.7±2.7)%, (1.6±0.2) and (65.0±5.0), and(89.4±7.5)ng·L-1, the difference all showed statistically significant(P<0.05). CONCLUSION Using mannatide combined with tacrolimus treatment on vitiligo has definite effect, regulating the immune balance is its possible mechanism.
