Analysis of the Clinical Manifestations of Platelet and Coagulation Function in Gynura Segetum Merr. Induced Hepatic Venular Occlusive Disease

    • OBJECTIVE To analysis of clinical manifestations of platelet and coagulation function in Gynura segetum Merr. induced hepatic venular occlusive disease(HVOD). METHODS The 35 cases with Gynura segetum Merr. induced HVOD were selected. The clinical data of the patients were analysed referring to reported literature. RESULTS In 35 cases, the platelet count of 32 cases were lower than normal, accounting for 91.4%, the value was (81.94±17.92)×109·L-1. The prothrombin time of 33 cases was prolonged, accounting for 94.2%. The value was (18.73±3.28)s. The international normalized ratio was 1.76±0.35. The activated partial thromboplastin time was (42.35±6.57)s. CONCLUSION The platelets content of Gynura segetum Merr. induced HVOD clinically and the coagulation function is inhibited. The therapy of romoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis and the anticoagulation of Gynura segetum Merr. induced HVOD need to be explored further.
