Analysis of Quality Management’s Effectiveness in Pharmacy Intravenous Admixture Services

OBJECTIVE To ensure the safety of using clinical medicine, and reduce the intravenous drugs’ admixture mistakes. METHODS Established the quality management team of intravenous admixture, through analyzing reasons of mistakes, seeking countermeasure, practicing measures, then multidirectional realized the improvement of quality management in PIVAS. RESULTS Through the quality management, the rate of intravenous admixture mistakes dropped from 0.05% to 0.003%, it was an extremely significant difference. CONCLUSION The continued management of quality is done by the quality management team, it could effective dropp the rates of mistakes in all link of PIVAS, it also could decrease the mistakes in admixture, so it can provide the safety for clinical medicine.
