Simultaneous Determination of Three Components in Bai Lemian Capsule by HPLC

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To establish a method for determination of 2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxy stilbene-2-Ο-β-D-glucoside, polygalaxanthone III and 3,6-disinapoyl sucrose in Bai Lemian capsule by HPLC. METHODS An Agilent Eclipse XDB-C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 mm) was used. The mobile phase was methyl alcohol-acetonitrile-0.05% phosphoric acid solution (32∶8∶60), the flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1, and the detection wavelength was 320 nm. RESULTS The linear range for 2,3,5,4'-tetrahydroxy stilbene-2-Ο-β-D-glucoside, polygalaxanthone Ⅲ and 3,6-disinapoyl sucrose were 0.020 6-0.309 mg, 0.041 6-0.624 mg and 0.22 4-0.336 mg(r=0.999 6, 0.999 4, 0.999 7), the average recovery were 94.63%, 99.63%, 98.11%(n=9), and RSD were 2.1%, 1.1%, 1.0%, respectively. CONCLUSION The method is accurate, credible and good reproducible. It can be used for the quality control of Bai Lemian capsule.
