    Simultaneous Determination of Forsythoside B, Acteoside and Isoacteoside in Luohua Zizhu Tablet by HPLC

    • OBJECTIVE To develop an HPLC method for simultaneous determining the contents of forsythoside B, acteoside and isoacteoside in Luohua Zizhu tablet. METHODS Using 50% ethanol ultrasonic extract the sample, the chromatographic analysis was carried out on Agilent ZORBAX SB-C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm). The mobile phase was acetonitrile and 0.4% phosphoric acid(18.2∶81.8). The flow rate was maintained at 0.8 mL·min-1. The detection wave length was set at 327 nm and the column temperature was controlled at 30 ℃. The sample injection volume was 10 μl. RESULTS The calibration curves were linear over the ranges of 0.936-4.680, 1.852-9.260, 2.140-10.700 μg (r=0.999 1, 0.999 9, 0.999 9) for the above compounds, respectively. The average coveries were 100.07%, 99.98%, 97.78%. CONCLUSION For this simple, rapid and accurate method is suitable for quality control and determination of products of Callicarpa nudiflora Hook. et Arn.
