Screening for 10 Anti-rheumatism Chemical Components in Health Food and Chinese Traditional Medicine by HPLC

    • OBJECTIVE To establish a method for rapid detection of 10 anti-rheumatism chemical components adding illegally in health food and traditional Chinese medicine. METHODS Using HPLC to conduct the preliminary screening. The Diamonsil C18(4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm) was used. The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.02 mol·L-1 ammonium acetate with linear gradient elution at a flow rate of 1.0 mL·min-1, the detection wavelength was 240 nm. RESULTS These ten components were separated completely, and the LODs were <2 ng. CONCLUSION The method is simple, sensitive and quickly to detect chemical components in health food and Chinese Traditional Medicine.
