    Determination of Ligustilide Z and Senkyunolide A in Jingfukang Granules by GC

    • OBJECTIVE To establish a method for content determination of ligustilide Z and senkyunolide A in Jingfukang granules by GC. METHODS Lactone compounds of Ligusticum chuanxiong Hort were extracted by chloroform and water, and then analyzed by GC. The separation was performed on an HP-5 capillary column(30 m×0.32 mm, 0.25 μm) with programmed temperature. RESULTS Good linear relationships were achieved both for ligustilide Z and senkyunolide A, over the range of 4.095-65.51 μg·mL-1(r=0.999 9) and 2.249-44.98 μg·mL-1(r=0.999 8), respectively. The average recoveries separately were 96.7% and 97.2%. CONCLUSION The method is simple, rapid with less sample costs, which is suitable for the quality control of ligustilide Z and senkyunolide A in Jingfukang granules.
