Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the compliance and therapeutic effect in schizophrenic by pharmaceutical intervention. METHODS All of 100 outpatients of schizophrenic from January 2011 to May 2011 in our hospital, were randomly divided into two groups, 50 cases in each group. The intervention group was treated with antipsychotics and pharmaceutical intervention, the control group was treated with antipsychotics only, for 12 months. The compliance was assessed before treatment and in the 6th month, 12th month. The BPRS were used to assess clinical curative effect before treatment and in the 12th month. RESULTS The compliance and BPRS of the study group was significantly higher(P<0.01) after treatment, the compliance was significantly better(P<0.05) in the 6th month. CONCLUSION Pharmaceutical intervention can effectively improve the treatment compliance and therapeutic effect.
