Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of complex decumbent Corydalis Rhizome tablets on the patients with syndrome of blood stasis in cerebral infarction at the acute stage and its influence on haemorheology, thus to approach its action mechanism. METHODS All of 64 cases of patients with syndrome of blood stasis in cerebral infarction at acute stage were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group and control group, 32 cases in each group. Conventional medicine therapy was applied in each group while complex decumbent Corydalis Rhizome tablets were added in the treatment group. The whole course lasted for 14 days without interruption as one course of treatment. The curative effect of each group was observed after one course of treatment, and statistics were made on items of observation index. RESULTS There was no significantly difference of curative effect, scores of neurologic impairment and blood stasis syndrome between treatment group and control group (P>0.05). But the improvement on haemorheology index in treatment group was better than that in control group (P<0.05). CONCLUSION The curative effect of complex decumbent Corydalis Rhizome tablets combined with conventional medicine therapy on the patients with cerebral infarction at acute stage is confirmed, especially due to its influence on haemorheology. It’s worth to be widely used in treating cerebral infarction at acute stage.
