    Research Progress of Microcarrier Drug Delivery System for Curcumin

    • OBJECTIVE To review research progress of microcarrier drug delivery system for curcumin to investigate more about the research situation of curcumin. METHODS Introduce the research progress of microcarrier drug delivery system for curcumin form of nanoparticles, microspheres, microemulsions, microcapsules, micelles, liposomes, phospholipid complexes, cyclodextrin inclusion compound respectively. RESULTS Microcarrier drug delivery system was widely used to improve the solubility and stability of curcumin, thus improving drug bioavailability in vivo. CONCLUSION The microcarrier drug delivery system has broad prospects, which can be applied in clinical application for curcumin.
