ABSTRACT OBJECTIVE To alert clinicians to pay attention to serious adverse drug reactions induced by metoclopramide injection. METHODS 1 case of severe extrapyramidal reactions and demyelinating encephalopathy caused by metoclopramide injection was reported and analyzed. RESULTS&CONCLUSION There is no report about the severe extrapyramidal reactions and Demyelinating encephalopathy caused by metoclopramide injection. Great importance should be attached to serious adverse drug reactions caused by Metoclopramide in the clinic. We should strictly master the dosage, and should pay attention to Individual differences.
