Experimental Study on Antibacterial Activity of Jinchan Oral Liquid

OBJECTIVE To study the antibacterial activity and minimum antibacterial concentration (MIC) of Jinchan oral liquid. METHODS Determining the MIC of Jinchan oral liquid by liquid test tube method. RESULTS Jinchan oral liquid had good antibacterial effect on Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Cray borrelia bacteria. The MIC of Jinchan oral liquid to these five bacteria was respectively 0.125, 0.25, 1.0, 1.0, 0.25 mL·mL^-1. CONCLUSION The preparation of Jinchan oral liquid is relatively simple. It shows a clear curative effect and has good efficacy on common pathogenic bacteria in pediatric clinical.
