Abstract
OBJECTIVE To quickly identify the structure types of anti-methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (anti-MRSA) secondary metabolites produced by Streptomyces sp. ZZ027 and Streptomyces sp. ZZ021. METHODS Two strains were fermented with 2A medium, and anti-MRSA chromatographic peaks were localized by HPLC micro-separation technology and agar diffusion method; anti-MRSA ingredients were isolated and prepared by TLC method, and their structure types were deduced by TLC chromogenic reaction, IR and 13C-NMR spectra. RESULTS The characters of chromogenic reaction, IR and 13C-NMR spectra of anti-MRSA ingredients produced by Streptomyces sp. ZZ027 and Streptomyces sp. ZZ021 were consistent with those of macrolides. CONCLUSION Anti-MRSA secondary metabolites produced by Streptomyces sp. ZZ027 and Streptomyces sp. ZZ021 were macrolides.
