Determination of Naringin in Xiqigushang Tablet by HPLC

OBJECTIVE To establish an HPLC method for content determination of naringin in Xiqigushang tablet. METHODS The assay was performed on Phenomenex Luna C18 column(250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm) by UV detector at 283 nm with acetonitrile-0.05% glacial acetic acid (20∶80) as the mobile phase at the flow rate of 1.0 mL·min^-1, column temperature at 30 ℃. RESULTS The amount of naringin was linear with its area over the range of 0.123 0-1.025 2 μg(r=0.999 7), the average recovery and relative standard deviation of naringin were 98.6%, RSD=0.90%(n=6). CONCLUSION The method is sensitive, accurate and can be used for the quality control of Xiqigushang tablet.
