The Diversified Pharmacological Functions of Salvianolate in Promoting Blood Circulation to Resolve Stasis

OBJECTIVE Advances on pharmacological effects of salvianolate are reviewed in this article in order to discuss the mechanisms of salvianolate in promoting blood circulation to resolve stasis. METHODS Consult and summarize several references home and abroad on it, and draw a conclusion. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION The potential pharmacological effects of salvianolate are extensive, and the research on it could contribute to form the basic pharmacological theory on the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine, to direct the clinical application of the similar type medicine.
