Abstract
OBJECTIVE To establish a method for detecting the residues, including hexane, methylcyclohexane, benzene, toluene, xylene, styrene, diethylbenzene divinybenzene, from macroporous adsorptions resin in salvianolic acid A. METHODS Headspace GC was adopted using an HP-1701 capillary column and hydrogenflame ionization detector. The initial temperature was 40 ℃ maintained for 3 min and then raised (8 ℃·min-1) to 140 ℃. RESULTS There was favorable linearity relation between peak area and concentration in the observed concentration range(r>0.999). The average recovery was in the range of 96.53%–99.32%. CONCLUSION The method is simple, accurate and specific. It can be used for the determination of residues from macroporous adsorbing resins in salvianolic acid A.
