Recent Development of Organosilicon Compounds in Drug Discovery

OBJECTIVE Review several major features of silicon in optimization of lead compounds, and to provide a theoretical basis for drug design. METHODS Search and summarize the related literatures at home and abroad recently. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION Sila-substitution (C/Si exchange) of existing drugs is an approach to search for new drug-like candidates.
