Determination of Pazufloxacin Mesilate Infection by HPLC

OBJECIVE To establish an HPLC method for assay of pazufloxacin mesilate injection. METHODS The analysis was carried out on Alltima C₁₈ column (250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 µm). The mobile phase was citric acid solution acetonitrile methanol (84∶16∶2), wave length was 243 nm and flow rate 1.0 mL·min^-1. RESULTS The liner range of pazufloxacin mesilate was 1.423-22.768 μg·mL^-1, r=0.999 5. The average recovery (n=9) was 99.73%, RSD=0.69%. CONCLUSION The method is simple, accurate and can be used for determination of pazufloxacin mesilate infection.
