Abstract
OBJECTIVE To establish an HPLC method for oxogluric acid of L-ornithine α-oxoglutarate. METHODS To establish a determination method of oxogluric acid in L-ornithine α-oxoglutarate by HPLC. Hypersil BDS column(4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm) was used and the mobile phase consisted of 0.1 mol·L-1(NH4)H2PO4 (pH 2.65). The detection wavelength was 215 nm and the flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1. RESULTS Oxogluric acid showed a good linear relationship in the range of 0.28-280 µg (r=0.999 9). The average recovery of assay was 100.7% with corresponding RSD was 1.5%(n=9). CONCLUSION This mehod is accurate and fast, and can be used for the quality control of L-ornithine α-oxoglutarate.
