Determination of Vitamin E in Vitamin E Cream by HPLC

OBJECTIVE To establish a method for the determination of vitamin E in vitamin E cream. METHODS An ODS-C₁₈ column(4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm) was used, the mobile phase was methanol and the detection wavelength was 285 nm. RESULTS The linear correlation was good in the range of 0.100 4-1.004 mg·mL^-1. The average recovery was 99.09% with RSD=0.66%. CONCLUSION The method is simple, rapid and accurate.
