Determination of the Content of Ginsenoside Rb1 in Tiepishihu Beverage by HPLC

OBJECTIVE To establish an HPLC method for determination of the content of ginsenoside Rb1 in Tiepishihu beverage. METHODS An Agilent Eclipse XDB-C₁₈ column(4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 µm) was used. The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid solution(32∶68), the flow rate was 1.0 mL·min^-1, the wavelength of detector was 203 nm, the injection volume was 10 µL and column temperature was set at 40 ℃. RESULTS The calibration curves showed good linearity in the range of 1.012-5.06 μg. The average recovery(n=6) was 102.3%, RSD was 1.8%. CONCLUSION The method was simple, fast and accurate for analysis of ginsenoside Rb1 in Tiepishihu beverage.
