    Determination of the Content of Ginsenoside Rb1 in Tiepishihu Beverage by HPLC

    • OBJECTIVE To establish an HPLC method for determination of the content of ginsenoside Rb1 in Tiepishihu beverage. METHODS An Agilent Eclipse XDB-C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 µm) was used. The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid solution(32∶68), the flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1, the wavelength of detector was 203 nm, the injection volume was 10 µL and column temperature was set at 40 ℃. RESULTS The calibration curves showed good linearity in the range of 1.012-5.06 μg. The average recovery(n=6) was 102.3%, RSD was 1.8%. CONCLUSION The method was simple, fast and accurate for analysis of ginsenoside Rb1 in Tiepishihu beverage.
