Application of Bar Code with HIS in Outpatient Pharmacy

OBJECTIVE To provide a new work style for drug check in Outpatient Pharmacy process. METHODS The drug bar code was scaned, and was compared with prescription automatically. The results were taken to access the veracity of the drug admeasure. RESULTS The technology of bar code can not only enhance the efficiency but also ensure the accuracy of the drug admeasure. CONCLUSION The use of technology of bar code is worthy of being expanded in drug admeasure.
