    HPLC Determination of Duloxetine Hydrochloride

    • OBJECTIVE To establish an HPLC method for the determination of duloxetine hydrochloride. METHODS The Kromasil C8(250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm) was used. The mobile phase was acetonitrible-0.02 mol·L-1 disodium hydrogen phosphate solution (pH 6.0) (45∶55). The flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1. The detection wavelength was 290 nm. RESULTS The calibration curve was linear in the range of 8.104-12.156 μg·mL-1 (r=0.999 9). The average content of duloxetine hydrochloride was 99.72% and RSD was 0.66%. CONCLUSION The mothod is sample, accurate, specify and can be used for the determination of duloxetine hydrochloride.
