To Analyze the Efficacy of Pharmaceutical Care on Patients in Admission Department

OBJECTIVE To evaluate results of pharmaceutical care on patients in admission department. METHODS During Aug 2007 and Mar 2009, 4 pharmacist fulfilled pharmaceutical care on the special patients in hospital, and pharmaceutical history was recorded. Classification statistics to propositions from pharmacists and their results, accepted status by doctor were carried out. RESULTS The percentages of propositions of adjusting dosis and applications were 52%, correcting faults in indication were 28%, modulating medical treatments were 20%. CONCLUSION Pharmaceutical care have positive roles in diminishing incorrect prescriptions and ensuring a valid safe and economic therapeutic regimen.
