    Analysis on Monitoring Reports of 385 Cases of Adverse Drug Reactions

    • OBJECTIVE To analyze the incidence of adverse drug reactions(ADRs) in our hospital and promote rational use of drug. METHODS Three hundred and eighty-five cases of ADRs reported in 2007—2008 were analyzed retrospectively in our hospital. RESULTS Incidence of ADRs were associated with a wide range of drugs, the top three of drugs were anti-microbial drugs, traditional Chinese medicine preparations, regulating water and electrolyte balance in medicine. Three hundred and twenty-two cases of ADRs were caused by intravenous administration and the proportion of the total number of ADRs were 83.6%. The main clinical manifestations of ADRs were the damage of the skin or its annexes, the digestive system, central nervous system, respiratory system, and so on. CONCLUSION It should be paid great attention to ADRs and strengthen monitoring the incidence of ADRs.
