Study on the in Vitro Release of Ruxiankang Cataplasmata

    • OBJECTIVE To discuss the influence of different transdermal enhancer on tanshinoneⅡA percutaneous absorption rate in Ruxiankang cataplasmata, and to enhance the curative effect of Ruxiankang cataplasmata. METHODS Using in vitro intelligent transdermal instrument, and taking tanshinoneⅡA as the index, tanshinoneⅡA percutaneous absorption quantity was tested by HPLC. At last, dynamic equation of tanshinoneⅡA percutaneous absorption was simulated. RESULTS 3% azone plus 5% propanediol could significantly enhance tanshinoneⅡA percutaneous absorbtion rate and percutaneous absorption quantity. CONCLUSION 3% azone plus 5% propylene glycol proved the most effeetive one.
