Determination the Content of Matrine in Fufang Shuanghuateng Zhiyang Liniment by RP-HPLC

OBJECTIVE To establish a RP-HPLC method for the determination of matrine in Fufang Shuanghuateng Zhiyang liniment.METHODS The Thermo ODS Hypersil column(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm)was used with the acetonitrile-phosphate buffer solution(contained 1.36 g potassium dihydrogen phosphate and 1 mL triethylamine,add water to 1 000 mL adjusted pH to 5.5 with phosphate acid)(4∶96)as mobile phase,the detection wavelength was 220 nm,the flow rate was 1.0 mL·min-1,the temperature of the column was 35 ℃。RESULTS The linear range of matrine was at 0.43-21.44 μg(r=0.999 9,the average recovery was 100.40% with RSD of 1.93%(n=6).CONCLUSION The method is accurate and reliable,it can be used for the determination of matrine in Fufang Shuanghuateng Zhiyang liniment.
