Advances in the Research on Rhaponticin

OBJECTIVE To introduce the new research and exploitation of rhaponticin. METHODS Make a summary of both national and overseas papers about rhaponticin, including its botanic resources, extraction and isolation and pharmacological activities. RESULTS Rhaponticin exists in various plants and possesses manifold pharmacological activities. CONCLUSION This paper gives consultation to the further research and exploitation of rhaponticin.
