Determination of Salvianolic Acid B in Rujining Capsule by HPLC

OBJECTIVE To establish the method for determining the concentration of salvianolic acid B in Rujining capsule by HPLC. METHODS Using Agilent ZORBAX Eclispse XDB-C18(4.6 mm×150 mm,5 μm) as chromatographic column,methanol-acetonitrile-formic acid-water（28∶8∶1∶63）as mobile phase.The detection wavelength was 286 nm.RESULTS The standard curves of salvianolic acid B were linear in range of 0.9-2.7 μg,r=0.999 7.The average recovery of salvianolic acid B were 100.1%（n＝9，RSD＝2.2%）. CONCLUSION This method is sensitive,quick and accurate for the determination of salvianolic acid B in Rujining capsule.
