Abstract
OBJECTIVE To establish an HPLC method for the determination of ursolic acid and oleanolic acid in different area of Henan′s Spica Prunellae. METHODS The ursolic acid and oleanolic acid separation was performed on a column: Betasil C18(250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) column, mobile phase was natrium dihydrogen phosphate solution (7.8 g→1000 mL)-methanol (14∶86), the flow rate was 0.8 mL·min-1, the column temperature was 25 ℃, the detective wavelength was 210 nm. RESULTS The ursolic acid calibration curve showed good linearity in the range of 0.554-5.34 μg(r=0.999 7), the average recovery was 97.45%(RSD=0.92%). The oleanolic acid calibration curve showed good linearity in the range of 0.28-2.24 μg (r=0.999 4), the average recovery was 97.61%(RSD=0.87%). CONCLUSION The method is simple,accurate and sensitive.
