Analysis of Alendronate

OBJECTIVE To summarize the analytical methods of alendronate internal and abroad and summarize the principle, advantages and disadvantages of these methods and discuss the assay of alendronate in new dosage form. METHODSBased on the tipical thesises from the internal and abroad, we analyzed, arranged and sumed up the analytical methods of alendronate. RESULTSThese analytical methods made alendronate analysis possible. Researcher had built many analytical methods of alendronate based on the structure, but different method had different principle and sensitivity, so people should choose the method according to their requirement. CONCLUSIONThe analytical methods will provide foundation for the further alendronate study, for the prodrug study of alendronate and the new dosage form study.
