    Study on Formation Technology of Meloxicam Drop Pills

    • OBJECTIVE To optimize the formation technology of meloxicam frop pills.METHODS Bases and refrigerants were studied using parrallel experiment and the dropping technology was chosen with orthogonal test. The dropping temperature,dropping distance,temperature and height of refrigerants were investigated with the pill weight RSD and spherical degree as indexes.RESULTS PEG6000 and liquid-paraffin were used as base and refrigerant, respectively. The ratio of meloxicam to PEG6000 was 1∶7.The mixture was incubated at 80 ℃ and dropped into the refrigerant with the height of more than 60 cm and the temperature of 5 ℃,dropping distance was 8 cm .CONCLUSION The formation and quality of meloxicam pills prepared with this technology were better.
