Analysis of Antithrombotic Therapy by Clinical Pharmacists in A Case of Acute Myocardial Infarction Complicated by Primary Sjögren’s Syndrome with Thrombocytopenia

OBJECTIVE To provide a reference for ensuring the safety and efficacy of antithrombotic therapy in patients with acute coronary syndrome through a case analysis of a patient with acute myocardial infarction complicated by primary Sjögren’s syndrome and thrombocytopenia.

METHODS Clinical pharmacists participated in the antithrombotic therapy of a patient with acute myocardial infarction complicated by primary Sjögren’s syndrome and thrombocytopenia, exploring the assessment of thrombosis and bleeding risks, the selection of antithrombotic therapy strategies, and the formulation of an individualized antithrombotic therapy regimen.

RESULTS The physician adopted the clinical pharmacist’s recommendation. The patient’s chest pain electrocardiogram showed no significant dynamic changes, platelet levels remained stable without a decrease, and the overall condition was essentially stable.

CONCLUSION In clinical practice, clinical pharmacists should actively leverage their professional expertise, collaborate closely with clinical physicians, and enhance the effectiveness and safety of antithrombotic therapy.
