Experience Sharing of Pharmacists Participating in the Support Work of the Comprehensive Outpatient Department of the Asian Games Village in Hangzhou Asian Games

OBJECTIVE To provide reference for the future development of pharmacist work in large-scale sports events by sharing the pharmaceutical service experience of the comprehensive outpatient pharmacy in the Asian Games Village of Hangzhou Asian Games.

METHODS Elaborated on the work content of pharmacists in the comprehensive outpatient department of the Asian Games Village during the Hangzhou Asian Games.

RESULTS The pharmacy team of the Asian Games Village comprehensive outpatient department provided comprehensive pharmaceutical services through teamwork, with a high sense of responsibility and proficient pharmaceutical expertise. In the management of stimulant drugs, pharmacists used their professional knowledge to accurately manage the use of drugs containing stimulants in all aspects, helped hospital personnel standardize the management and use of drugs containing stimulants, and ensured the safe use of drugs by athletes. The pharmaceutical team provided medication instructions and consultations for over 1000 times, provided professional pharmaceutical services for the medication of thousands of people.

CONCLUSION In the comprehensive outpatient department guarantee work of the Asian Games Village, pharmacists participate in multiple pharmaceutical services and play their role in the smooth progress of the Asian Games through their professional skills.
