Abstract
Ferroptosis is a new form of non-apoptotic cell death, regulated by various metabolites such as iron, amino acids, and polyunsaturated fatty acids. It has been shown to be involved in various diseases including cancers, ischemia-reperfusion injury and degenerative pathologies. At present, multiple iron death inhibitors with different mechanisms of action have been discovered, showing good therapeutic effects in various disease models. This article provides a review of iron death inhibitors in recent years, providing ideas for further research.
