Analysis of Professor Chen Zhe’s medication rule in differentiation and treatment of rectal cancer based on Data Mining

OBJECTIVE To summarize the medication rule of professor Chen Zhe in the treatment of rectal cancer.METHODS A total of 913 outpatient visits of professor Chen Zhe,Department of Integrative Oncology,the Changhai Hospital,Naval Medical University from July 1,2017 to July 1,2019 were included in the study.The database of professor Chen Zhe treating rectal cancer was established,and the frequency statistics,attribute analysis,association analysis,cluster analysis and complex network analysis of traditional Chinese medicine in the database were carried out.RESULTS Among the 913 prescriptions included,36 herbs were used with frequency ≥ 122,including Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma (870 times,95.29%),Codonopsis Radix (835 times,91.46%),Coicis Semen (771 times,84.45%),Ganoderma (760 times,83.24%),Euryales Semen (742 times,82.17%),et al.The four Qi of drugs were mainly flat,followed by warm,cold and cool;the five flavors were mainly sweet,followed by bitter,spicy and light taste;the spleen meridian was the main channel,followed by lung,stomach and kidney channels.In the analysis of association rules,23 kinds of drug pairs with the highest association strength were found.The drugs were divided into 7 categories by clustering,and a new prescription which basically met clinical requirement was obtained by complex network.CONCLUSION Professor Chen Zhe's treatment of rectal cancer is mainly to replenish Qi and strengthen the body,it has a certain guiding significance for clinical practice.
