Current Status and Suggestions on Overseas Intellectual Property Protection of Zhejiang Pharmaceutical Industry

OBJECTIVE To the thorough implementation of the national intellectual property protection strategy, investigate and analyze the intellectual property protection status of pharmaceutical enterprises in Zhejiang province, in order to provide references and suggestions for the government, communities and relative enterprises. METHODS Fathomed intellectual property protection awareness of enterprises through on-site investigations, examined corporate patent's operation status through analyzing corporate patent statistics and overseas litigation information, and devised suggestions referring to existing risk prevention and control patterns at home and abroad. RESULTS The major concerns perturbing the overseas intellectual property protection of Zhejiang pharmaceutical industry were clarified, and countermeasures were devised, addressing three levels of government level, local level and enterprise level. CONCLUSION Confronting the situation, concerns and challenges of overseas intellectual property protection of Zhejiang pharmaceutical industry, all sectors of society shall dynamically foster synergy to bolster the construction of the overseas intellectual property protection system.
