    Research Progress of Nitric Oxide and its Delivery Systems in Tumor Therapy

    • Nitric oxide(NO), as an important endogenous signal molecule, participates in the regulation of various physiological and pathological activities in organisms. Recently, it has been found that NO also plays an important role in tumor treatment. A series of researches suggest that NO with high concentration can not only inhibit tumor cell proliferation by inducing apoptosis, but also has a sensitizing effect on various tumor therapies. This paper summarizes several important NO donors, and then reviews the research development of NO via nano-carriers in tumor combined therapy.
