Research Progress and Application Prospect of Preparations Made by 3D Printing

With the development of precision medicine, the field of drug therapy is developing from group drug therapy to individual drug therapy.3D printing technology have advantages in the production of personalized and customized pharmaceutical preparations, because of its rapid prototyping and digital modeling technology.Due to the development of 3D printing technology, more and more research teams are engaged in the research of 3D printing preparation.In this article, the research progress of 3D printing preparation in recent years is reviewed from four aspects: dosage form, quality control, clinical application, and 3D printing methods.The application prospect and challenges of 3D printing preparation are also analyzed.
